Collaborative Discussions

It is a chance to think critically, debate, compare, analyze, and share their learning. These higher-order thinking skills are important for our students and evidenced in our cross-curricular competencies. The media today is a perfect example of this change in our world. We no longer simply "consume"....but we are expected to participate and share our thoughts for anything from the news we watch to a recipe we have tried. As educators, it is important for us to teach students to be reflective, build arguments, and critically reflect on perspectives and point of view.
